The University of Miami Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing seeks to leverage Extended Realities (XR) and data-oriented development and implementation of XR experiences to provide data driven solutions to real world problems.
Requirements
- Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions
Responsibilities
- Conducts interdisciplinary research targeting XR solutions in education, knowledge work, or health.
- Collaborates across partner universities and research centers to influence innovation in XR and education (e.g., setup and deploy from lab to field studies and large-scale implementations, create experiments, and prototype implementations, design new XR experiences)
- Publishes and presents novel research findings in top academic venues, sharing with communities
