Requirements
- Experience in metaoptics
- Experience in biosensing
- Experience in structured light
- Knowledge of optical wave propagation simulations (e.g., Finite-Difference Time-Domain, Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis, FEM) for metaoptics
- Experience with nanophotonics design
- Experience with wavefront sensing
- Experience with optical imaging design
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of metasurfaces and meta-optics
- Develop state-of-the-art biophotonic technologies using novel light manipulation strategies
- Non-invasively study the adaptive mechanisms in living systems
- Design and develop optical imaging and sensing technologies
- Exploit the various degrees of freedom of light to create tailored optical beams
- Extract structural and functional information from biosystems
- Conduct research in optics, imaging, quantum physics, and computer science
Other
- Ph.D. in physics, optics, engineering, photonics, or other related fields
- Demonstrated understanding of optics and photonics
- Good communication skills
