Texas A&M University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct and publish original interdisciplinary research in the domain of virtual reality applications for pain and rehabilitation, focusing on chronic low back pain and spinal cord injury.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology, Communication, Neuroscience, Rehabilitation Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong publication record.
- Previous experience with virtual reality and pain/rehabilitation/disability research.
- Research interests that compliment those of the PI.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and publish original interdisciplinary research in the domain of virtual reality applications for pain and rehabilitation under the supervision of the PI.
- Generating novel experimental concepts.
- Designing and programming experiments.
- Analyzing data.
- Interpreting results.
- Writing research manuscripts to be submitted to peer-review journals.
- Grant-writing mentorship will be provided.

- This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance.
