Texas A&M University is looking to solve the problem of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders (SUD) through clinical research, including participation in clinical trials.
Requirements
- Prior research training in clinical psychology, behavioral health, or a related field.
- Experience in data collection, management, and analysis, including using standardized assessments and contributing to grant writing.
- Advanced data analysis skills, including use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS).
- Proficiency with data management and reporting platforms such as redcap.
- Experience conducting statistical analysis using software such as SPSS, R, or SAS.
- Familiarity with ecological momentary assessment (EMA) tools.
- Ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets with attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with grant submissions and peer-reviewed publications, contributing to the development of competitive research proposals.
- Support research projects by conducting data management and statistical analyses, and assisting with study development, assessments, and data collection.
- Develop conference presentations, posters, and other scholarly products.
- Research mentorship and supervision of doctoral students in clinical psychology.
- Collaborate with research staff, graduate students, and investigators on study tasks, and actively contribute to lab meetings and team initiatives.

- Ph.D in a clinical or counseling psychology.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary work team.
- Travel requirements not specified, but may be required for conference presentations and other scholarly activities.
