Texas A&M University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of healthcare design, human behavior, and advanced analytics, contributing to high-impact publications and collaborative projects.

- Expertise in experimental design, behavioral mapping, survey and interview protocol development.
- Proven record in user research across healthcare environments.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and qualitative analysis.
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, data visualization, and applied analytics for multi-modal datasets.
- Technical proficiency with Python, R, SQL, SPSS, Tableau.
- Architectural and design software expertise: Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, 3D Studio Max/V-ray, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interdisciplinary research in healthcare design, human-environment interaction, and data analysis.
- Design and execute experimental and applied studies including qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Develop and apply advanced analytics to identify behavioral and cognitive patterns and translate findings into evidence-based design strategies.
- Prepare and maintain research instruments, data collection protocols, and experimental environments.
- Analyze and synthesize research data and summarize results, producing reports, visualizations, and scholarly publications.
- Leveraging expertise in architecture, computer science, and human-centered design, the associate will design and execute experimental and applied research studies.
- Contribute to high-impact publications, support collaborative projects with academic and industry partners, and mentor students in research.

- Doctoral degree in Architecture or closely related field
- U.S. Permanent Resident or citizen, eligible to work without sponsorship.
- May have to work on the weekend and/or after normal hours and travel as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong presentation skills for academic and professional audiences.
