Texas A&M University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct and publish original research on visual attention under the supervision of the PI.
Requirements
- Ph.D in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Strong publication record, including first-author papers utilizing fMRI.
- Proficiency with fMRI methods.
- Experience with eye tracking.
- Strong programming skills.
- Research interests that compliment those of the PI.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities
- Conducts original research and provides support for ongoing projects under the guidance of the PI.
- Generates novel experimental concepts, designs and programs experiments, and analyzes data to interpret results.
- Disseminates research findings under PI guidance through manuscript writing and editing for peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences.
- Mentors a small team of undergraduate research assistants on assigned projects and provide ad hoc guidance to graduate students in collaboration with the laboratory manager.
