Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support research activities by running neurophysiology experiments, analyzing data, developing computational models, and publishing findings.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
- Matlab
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate instruments for measuring electromyography
- Setup and operate instruments for performing neural stimulation
- Write and use custom software in Matlab to analyze data and run neuromechanics simulations
- Write summary reports of experiments and analysis in form of primary journal articles
