The Lopez laboratory studies viruses and their interaction with their host to understand how different components of a virus population affect the infected organism and how this interaction influences virus evolution and its maintenance in nature. The lab also seeks to discover determinants of acute and chronic respiratory virus pathogenesis that could be targeted to ameliorate the burden of viral diseases.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree.
- Ph.D. in Microbiology, Cell biology, Biochemistry or other related discipline.

Responsibilities
- Assists with grant preparation and reporting.
