The Ting Zhang Lab at WashU Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the functions of bile metabolites induced by bacterial infection, aiming to advance understanding of how infection-stimulated bile metabolites influence intestinal defense mechanisms and disease outcomes.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree.
- Ph.D. in Microbiology, Cell biology, Biochemistry or other related discipline.
- Extensive expertise in mammalian cell culture and bacterial genetics.

Responsibilities
- Assists with grant preparation and reporting.
- Prepares and submits papers on research.
- Assists in the design of research experiments.
- Evaluates research findings and assists in the reporting of the results.

- Maintains compliance with good laboratory practice including the maintenance of adequate research records
