The Cooper lab at WashU is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow to work on projects related to understanding somatic variants in inborn errors of immunity
Requirements
- Strong background in Immunology and bioinformatics, including first-author original publications
- Expertise in analysis of genomic datasets
- Strong writing skills as evidenced by past publications and/or grant awards
- Experience in immunologic techniques (wet-lab)
Responsibilities
- Independently design and perform experiments related to identification of somatic variants leading to inborn errors of immunity, with oversight from PI
- Write manuscripts describing the findings of your scientific research
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Assist with writing grant applications for the laboratory, and submit training grant applications to support your work
- Work collaboratively with all members of the laboratory
- Meet with Dr. Cooper regularly to review progress and for career development
