Texas State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to conduct federally funded transportation-health research, focusing on quantitative methodologies to analyze large-scale datasets and contribute to scholarly publications and grant applications.
Requirements
- PhD in healthcare, public health, health services research, economics, sociology, data science, or a related field.
- Strong record of academic writing, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods.
- Proficiency in STATA and Python.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis.
- Prior involvement in grant writing and proposal development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on transportation and healthcare-related topics.
- Lead and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
- Analyze large-scale datasets using STATA and Python.
- Contribute to grant applications and research reporting requirements.
- Present research findings at national conferences and workshops.
