The SRPMIC is seeking a Power BI Data Analytics Developer to transform complex data into clear, compelling insights and bring customer data to life through intuitive dashboards and impactful visual storytelling.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), MDX, and SQL
- Experience with additional analytics platforms such as Tableau or Qlik is a plus
- Strong dashboard design skills
- Hands-on experience in data analytics
- Three (3) years’ solid grounding in DAX, Power Query (M) and SQL
- Three (3) years’ experience creating BI solutions with a strong focus on Power BI and digital story telling
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs and complex data into impactful visual stories and actionable insights
- Design interactive dashboards that engage users, reveal insights, and bring data to life in meaningful and creative ways
- Contribute to testing, training, and user adoption of solutions
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of interactive dashboards that add lasting value to customers’ day-to-day decision-making
- Collaborate closely with database administration, development, and application support teams to ensure solutions meet both technical standards and customer satisfaction goals
- Work directly with customers to understand their goals and design interactive dashboards
- Support solutions from concept through delivery
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related IT discipline
- May be required to work outside normal work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
