The business problem MBMS is looking to solve is developing, implementing, managing, and refining robust data flows utilizing Fabric to deliver accurate, efficient, timely, and accessible analytics and reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerBI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
- Expert-level SQL scripting skills with experience handling large datasets.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Fabric experience needed
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Microsoft Fabric Platform knowledge and understanding of architecture
- 10+ years' experience with SQL
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data flows using Fabric and PowerBI to ensure seamless integration and processing of data from various sources.
- Implement strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting systems.
- Build and optimize Fabric and PowerBI models, including complex, large-scale models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Write complex DAX formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and custom visualizations.
- Author and optimize DAX queries for performance and efficiency in large datasets.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL scripts and Fabric tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Ensure optimal performance of PowerBI models and reports, including addressing performance bottlenecks and scalability strategies.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics
- 5+ years' experience in PowerBI
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
