Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support their data visualization team by maintaining and enhancing business intelligence dashboards and reports, migrating legacy reports, and creating new Power BI solutions to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience building dashboards and reports, business intelligence, and data analysis.
- Experience with data integration, semantic and dimension modeling, and DAX programming.
- Experience leveraging Microsoft power platform.
- Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, DAX programming, data modeling, and cloud integration.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data querying and manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and support business units to design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with the data engineering team to integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and implementing necessary data transformations.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring rapid load times and intuitive user experiences.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed Power BI dashboards, data models, and processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Power BI usage, best practices, and data visualization techniques.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to develop and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for front-end reporting in Power BI.

- Position is on-site in Arlington VA 2 days per week (subject to change per customer requirements)
