Piper Enterprise Solutions is looking to craft, deploy, and sustain robust data architecture solutions with a focus on Power BI, cloud migrations, modern data frameworks, and data lakes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard and visualization design.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Experience in migrating on-premises systems to the cloud and modernizing legacy systems.
- Knowledge of data lake frameworks and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with Snowflake and other modern data warehousing solutions.
- Experience in the financial services sector is a significant plus.
- Experience with database engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain contemporary data architectures, including data lakes and pipelines.
- Oversee the transition of on-premises data systems to cloud-based environments.
- Enhance data models, schemas, and database performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards across all platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve complex database issues to minimize downtime.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver Power BI solutions that fulfill business needs.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, and business intelligence.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
