U.S. Bank is looking to develop Power BI reports from an extensive enterprise client reporting dataset to help customers and businesses make better financial decisions and enable communities to grow and succeed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent advanced Power BI Development experience and SQL skills
- Experience in SQL/WebFOCUS or other BI tool for querying data and for data manipulation/transformation
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results for insights
- Ability to data mine, analyze data, and present insights in a meaningful way
Responsibilities
- build Power BI Dashboards from scratch
- use DAX language in creating complex custom measures and attributes
- participate in design and development discussions with the larger team
- validate reported data against the source tables

- Acquires data from multiple data sources in order to perform analysis and reporting
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data in order to provide answers to business questions as well as provide recommendations for action

- The Power BI reports created will need to adhere to the standardized department data presentation methodology and aesthetic.
- This role will require individual development time (focused on supporting an assigned business line reporting needs), as well as connecting with the larger collaborative team of Financial Analysts, Power BI Developers and Data Engineers to align and further develop business knowledge and collectively address topics.
- Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they activate upon them and make data driven decisions.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership with Senior Business unit management, business partners and project sponsors, as well as communicate effectively with business, and development teams, end users, and product owners.
- The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
