DTCC is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and business value to support critical financial operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Strong expertise in: Power BI Desktop & Service
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Power Query (M language)
- Data modeling (relational, dimensional, OLAP)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus (Azure preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Build and optimize data models (star schema, snowflake schema) to support reporting needs.
- Create and manage DAX queries, measures, and calculated columns for complex business logic.
- Optimize performance of Power BI reports through best practices in query folding, data reduction, and efficient modeling.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with DTCC policies and financial industry standards.
- Collaborate with ETL/Database teams to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting.
- Publish, maintain, and support Power BI workspaces, datasets, and apps across the organization.

- Work with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective BI solutions.
- Stay updated with latest Power BI features and industry trends to drive innovation in reporting solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services / capital markets domain.
