LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and enforcement of enterprise-wide Power BI governance and performance strategies to solve problems, make better decisions, stay compliant, reduce risk and improve operations.
Requirements
- Possess current and extensive Power BI skills in a collaborative environment
- Experience implementing workspace standards, naming conventions, data stewardship, and compliance policies.
- Possess advanced technical skills in DAX, SQL, PowerShell, and Azure, with proven experience in automation, monitoring, and optimization at scale.
- Ability to work with usage metrics, audit logs, and capacity monitoring tools.
- Experience with Power BI Embedded, Microsoft Fabric roadmap planning, and agile delivery
- deep expertise in Power BI Service, Premium capacities, and enterprise-scale administration

Responsibilities
- Managing and enforcing workspace governance (naming conventions, standards, lifecycle policies).
- Oversee dataset configuration, refresh schedules, and report lifecycle management.
- Implement and maintain security and compliance policies, including row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Monitor and optimize Premium capacity performance, including autoscale and cost optimization strategies.
- Utilizing usage metrics, audit logs, and performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards for capacity health, gateway performance, and dataset refresh success.
- Providing guidance on data modeling best practices, DAX optimization, and query performance tuning.
