TE Connectivity is looking to solve the problem of developing innovative power interconnection solution products for hyperscale computer, AI, Datacenter, Cloud server, and other IT systems.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
- Experience with product development processes, including design, prototyping, and testing
- Knowledge about various phases of product realization and product development
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art design tools such as 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), modeling, Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T), electrical & electronic design, and Simulation
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, stamping, plating, etc.)
- Knowledge of material (metal/plastic) properties will be a plus
- Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, 6sigma, DOE, 8D…) will be a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage team to research, develop, and maintain products through the Lifecyle
- Overseeing the entire process of new product development and providing support if needed
- Drive the continuous development and enhancement of systems and procedures to streamline the design and development process
- Create, maintain, and realize a technology roadmap and align with the cross-functional team
- Conduct thorough design verification and validation testing to ensure the product meets the required specifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure a smooth transition to production
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
Other
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience
- Generally has a minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership and people management experience
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $162,600 – $243,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
