WEC Energy Group is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to help the Operational Excellence and Innovation Task Force drive continuous improvement in operations and business processes by leveraging data science and data analysis skills to discover and analyze opportunities, make data-driven decisions, and visualize data and metrics to improve operations and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Data Analytics or related degree with a graduation date after June 2026.
- Experience with SQL, Python
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience writing code, programs, and/or algorithms
Responsibilities
- Perform data collection, data mining, data cleaning, ETL, and organization of data from a variety of sources including relational databases
- Perform data analysis and potentially data engineering
- Help develop data visualizations, metrics and live dashboard
- Potentially create new ways for operations to collect, analyze, display and use data
- Collaborate with team members, IT and various work groups as needed
- Alternate between remote and office work as needed (hybrid setting)
Other
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Experience working in a hybrid setting
