Proctor Loan Protector needs to build and maintain scalable, predictable, and high-quality applications, as well as build new functionality for existing systems.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft T-SQL, MS Office Suite
  • At least 3 years experience developing and supporting software applications
  • Power Systems Technologies
  • RPG Free, RPG/ILE, RPG/IV, RPG/III, RPG/SQL
  • CLP
  • DB2 for IBM i
  • SQL for IBM i

Responsibilities

  • Devise or modify current solutions to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
  • Prepare detail specifications from which programs and test cases will be written
  • Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities including analysis, development and execution of unit testing
  • Participate in Code reviews by reviewing others code and having their code reviewed by other developers
  • Interaction / communication/ follow through with QA throughout testing phase to facilitate iterative cycle
  • Perform necessary investigation, and analysis to assist in the definition of systems set-up, process control and user support.
  • Participate in planning and troubleshooting of infrastructure migration and upgrades.
