The Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requires a PowerApps Developer to support mission-critical initiatives, streamlining operations, enhancing data integrity, and supporting national security objectives.
Requirements
- Power Platform Proficiency: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- Experienced in working within Agile or Scrum development environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
- Certifications: Hold relevant certification in Microsoft Power Platform such as 'Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)' or similar.
- Ability to create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, embedded within PowerApps or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working with Power Apps Connectors: experience with integrating and connecting Power Apps with various data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint and SQL.
- At least 5 + years of related experience

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- Develop and optimize Power Automate flows to automate workflows across departments.
- Create scalable solutions that integrate with Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, SQL, and other data sources.
- Design data models, relationships, and entities within Dataverse or alternative data platforms.
- Develop test plans and conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for applications, workflows, data models, and processes.
- Share best practices and mentor junior developers or citizen developers within the organization.

- Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other Information Technology related field.
- US Citizenship Required
- Top Secret Clearance and ability to obtain DOE Q clearance
