Koniag Data Solutions is seeking a PowerBuilder Developer to support the development and maintenance of PowerBuilder applications, as well as migration initiatives to modern technologies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PowerBuilder
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and basic stored procedure development
- Experience with version control system (Git, SVN, or similar)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PowerBuilder applications according to specifications
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications
- Create and optimize database queries and stored procedures
- Implement changes and enhancements to existing applications
- Document code, technical specifications, and processes
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards
- Support application migration efforts from PowerBuilder to modern technologies
Other
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in PowerBuilder development
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (current)
- Ability to work under supervision and independently on assigned tasks
