The Child Mind Institute is looking to hire a pre-doctoral intern in Clinical Psychology to provide structured training in a multidisciplinary setting, focusing on accurate interviewing, clinical assessment, and evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents with various mental health concerns.
Requirements

- Internship training focuses on accurate interviewing and clinical assessment for a wide variety of primary and comorbid presenting mental health concerns—including anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, behavior or conduct disorders, among others—as well as various evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
- Specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and other evidence-based treatments will be provided.
- Opportunities for training in other treatment approaches (e.g., parent-child interaction therapy for selective mutism [PCIT-SM], dialectical behavior therapy [DBT]), as well as psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, while not central components of the pre-doctoral internship, may be made available to interested interns.
