Hubbell Incorporated is looking to develop actionable pricing insights and innovative tools to drive price efficacy within the organization by performing advanced data analysis.

Requirements

  • deep technical understanding of data modeling design principles
  • proficiency with the full suite of MS O365 products including advanced Excel and Power BI skills
  • 3+ years of deep experience developing efficient reports and analysis with Power BI, including complex M and DAX queries, data model design principles and tradeoffs, and working with imperfect data.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, and PowerQuery.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired, specific experience with SAP Sales & Distribution module preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to work with large datasets and make data-driven pricing decisions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data modeling and visualization tools that promote continuous improvement across the Utility Solutions segment.
  • Create reports and dashboards in Power BI to help drive key business decisions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
  • Synthesize multiple sources of data (SAP, Salesforce, External market metrics) to provide a holistic view of sale performance and opportunities.
  • Support implementation of quotation and pricing procedure changes to improve key pricing metrics.
  • Develop pricing models to maximize efficiency and win rates.
  • Develop and execute processes that allow for the timely implementation of mass price adjustments in response to evolving market conditions.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytically rigorous field. Master’s degree preferred.
