Requirements
- Robust understanding of current robotic surgery in the US market
- Demonstrated knowledge and significant experience with general surgical and robotic training including open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures
- Proven understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical arena and healthcare system requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and ethical obligations
- Ability to assemble and lead teams effectively
- Proven ability to establish working relationships with all levels of organization including Clinical, technical, marketing, and corporate partnership, in business, clinical, and/or academic settings
Responsibilities
- Lead the facilitation of customized training and education programs for medical and academic professionals on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Participate in the development of Medtronic’s US education strategy and curriculum to achieve corporate and regional educational objectives
- Conduct/Facilitate physician led education and consulting, supporting establishment and maintenance of customer relations with clinicians and organizations
- Lead development of assigned US Med Ed specialty strategy for commercial launch
- Manage and support internal and external clinical advisors regarding clinical protocols and device investigations
- Develop educational faculty and proctor pipeline, developing healthcare professionals as faculty across assigned surgical specialties
- Collaborate with internal resources and/or expert consultants to support business needs through educational programs and operations
Other
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to work remotely within the U.S.
- Must be able to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers
- Must be independently mobile
