Collins Aerospace is looking for a Data Analyst to build and maintain robust data integration solutions to support Quality data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives within the Avionics Operational Quality team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R, Power BI / Tableau).
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI and Power Automate, for building and automating data solutions.
- Intermediate programming skills in languages such as SQL, DAX, M, Python
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices, data warehousing principles, and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain overall Quality Metrics related to goal setting, actual and forecasted performance.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing data governance practices.
- Build user-friendly data visualizations to help stakeholders quickly interpret data and identify trends.
- Develop and maintain data collection processes, data transformations, and relational data modeling.
- Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing Quality Reports to key stakeholders and internal customers.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively.

- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role leveraging Data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
