Requirements
- Expert level proficiency in SQL with deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Hands-on Experience with cloud data platforms (particularly Snowflake) and modern data stack tools like dbt, Airflow and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
- Apply software engineering principles including version control (Git), CI/CD, and documentation.
- Experience with Data Products in Agile environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable and accurate data models that align with strategic business objectives.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines and dimensional models using best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and performance across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and robust documentation practices.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-impact analytical solutions.
- Lead the development and lifecycle management of data products, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and align with strategic objectives.
- Embed continuous improvement processes in your product solution designs, ways of working, ensuring durable products are created that provide long-term value.
Other
- Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
