Microsoft is looking to deliver innovation in Microsoft Copilot by experimenting with fine-tuning models, building end-to-end AI First SaaS product scenarios, enabling enterprise productivity, and ensuring enterprise security and governance capabilities for AI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML products or systems at multiple points in the product cycle from ideation to shipping.
- 2+ years experience with transformer-based models (e.g., GPT, Llama).
- 1+Experience coding and hands-on experience working with foundation models, including prompt optimization, advanced RAG, model optimization and adaptation.
- 1+Ability to apply research, preferring the large-scale application of new ideas over theory and prototypes.
- Proficiency in Python for data science workflows, leveraging libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Jupyter for data analysis, experimentation, and rapid prototyping
- Exposure to Deep Neural Network training and inference and experience in one or more deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Experience with Agent based architectures, frameworks and technologies (such as MCP, A2A protocol, Langchain, Azure AI Foundry)
Responsibilities
- Experiment with fine-tune models, to build end-to-end AI First SaaS product scenarios enabling enterprise productivity and taking actions while ensuring enterprise security and governance capabilities for AI.
- Alignments with stakeholders, working together to build and fine-tune models, developing advanced RAG techniques, to coming up with ways to build custom generative AI architectures for specific product needs.
- Reviewing business and product requirements, incorporating research, and providing strategic direction for problem solving, and depending on situation also hands-on prototyping applied science development techniques to create or develop novel applications of AI in products.
- Ensuring scientific rigor, supporting the development of methods, and applying your experience to support business impact.
- Designing system architecture that meets security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
- Leading implementation and deployment of solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Translating project vision into actionable milestones and guiding the team in project estimation and planning.
