GEICO is looking to develop data delivery solutions that support operational data reporting, including datasets, extracts, reports, and dashboards, by proactively developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures.
Requirements
- Proficiently execute all phases of the development of automated data delivery processes for reporting and dashboards using ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, etc.
- Apply expertise in SQL to write, debug and optimize queries and data pipelines
- Migrate existing SAS solutions to technologies used widely at GEICO, such as dbt and Power BI
- Demonstrate a strong foundation in modern data architecture concepts like, data warehouse, data mart, data lake, data lakehouse, data mesh, etc.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) claims data/analytics experience or any P&C insurance industry experience
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong foundation in modern data architecture concepts like, data warehouse, data mart, data lake, data lakehouse, data mesh, etc.
- Lead data model design and architect data delivery solutions for complex projects
- Advise on data delivery technologies and strategies
- Proficiently execute all phases of the development of automated data delivery processes for reporting and dashboards using ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, etc.
- Apply expertise in SQL to write, debug and optimize queries and data pipelines
- Migrate existing SAS solutions to technologies used widely at GEICO, such as dbt and Power BI
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement data models and architectures to support client projects and initiatives
