BambooHR is seeking to empower teams to make data-driven decisions through the development and implementation of BI solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Omni)
- Solid understanding of the data transformation process and ability to work with Analytics Engineering and or Data Engineers
- Familiarity with Advanced Analytics concepts helping to drive predictive and prescriptive insights within the enterprise
- Experience working with data from various business functions (e.g., Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly
- Experience with BI tools and technologies, including AI use in BI
- Ability to package and present data at various levels throughout the enterprise
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and decision-making
- Elicit and document clear and comprehensive business requirements for BI solutions
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to ensure efficient up-system transformations and create data models/views
- Contribute to data quality and governance efforts to ensure the accuracy and consistency of BI data
- Maintain a strong understanding of BI tools and technologies, staying up-to-date with new features and trends
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Analytics Engineers/junior BI team members
Other
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data or Decision Science, Finance, or a related discipline
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-office days
- Passing a background and credit check is required for employment
