GDIT is looking to solve the problem of managing and transforming technology for mission-critical government projects, specifically by delivering 'One GDIT Network' for clients and helping them face obstacles in the modern age.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Development background in Node.JS and React.JS
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
- Experience with AWS cloud computing
- Linux OS experience
- Design and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL tools
Responsibilities
- Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
- Maintains the integrity and security of systems
- Maintains all documentations
- Supports and develops automation
- Develops in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Monitors and tunes the cloud systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Other
- Education: Technical Training, Certificate, or Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant computer-based major strongly preferred
- Must be US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen)
- Must be able to pass a background check to obtain and maintain a position of Public Trust
- Less than 10% travel required
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization
