Iridium is looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to manage and execute complex cloud infrastructure projects for a Space Development Agency (SDA) project, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting Cloud on AWS
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud security, observability, container services on AWS
- AWS Cloud Certification
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy applications utilizing the AWS stack to build scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions
- Play a key role in creating and implementing automation processes and standards for AWS cloud service
- Be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure components meet proper performance and security standards
- Work independently to conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
- Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation

- This position requires an active/current Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
