Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Cloud Software Developer to maintain and enhance capabilities in support of DAF CLOUDworks at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Rome, NY. DAF CLOUDworks is a rapidly growing secure cloud program that encompasses 10+ teams supporting information security, infrastructure development, and cloud migration.
Requirements
- Experience developing code with multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Go)
- Strong technical understanding of Cloud-based technologies (AWS Platform, Azure Platform, Google Cloud)
- Expertise utilizing version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Proficiency utilizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to administer cloud-based networking solutions, managing ACLs, Security Groups, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools to automate cloud resource provisioning
- Cloud platform developer certifications such as: AWS Platform (>= AWS Certified Developer Assoc.), Azure Platform (>= Azure Developer: Assoc)
