The Principal Data Analyst is responsible for focusing on high-level executive reporting and strategic analysis. The Principal Data Analyst will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering complex reports directly to executive & senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in data analytics tools and software, including SQL, Excel, Tableau, and other business intelligence platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • 7+ years’ experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record in managing complex reporting tasks and delivering to senior stakeholders.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the mortgage servicing or servicing adjacent field.
  • Proven experience in addition to what is outlined below may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting systems that deliver key business insights to executive management for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide recommendations on business strategy and operations.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the company’s performance across various metrics.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine reporting processes and enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of executive communications.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that require synthesizing data from various sources and presenting complex information in an understandable format.
  • Serve as a liaison between the data analytics team and senior executives, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy in reports.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to maintain the integrity of all executive-level reporting.

  • Exceed the expectations of our residential mortgage borrowers & business partners through superior service, simple processes, and effective communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and persuasive manner to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on results and meeting timeline requirements.
