BILL is looking to empower businesses by replacing outdated financial processes with innovative tools, enabling them to make smarter decisions and gain control of their operations. The Data & Analytics – Data Enablement team aims to empower the business with scalable, reliable, and actionable data solutions, and the Principal Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in architecting robust data pipelines, auditing data quality, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization to shape the future of data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in data architecture, pipeline development, and analytics solution design.
  • Proficiency with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), ETL tools, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving data quality and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and enhance existing data infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Design and implement analytics solutions that enable self-service and empower analytics with greater clarity & velocity.
  • Architect and optimize end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with data platform, data enablement, and analytics teams to define data requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Lead the development and adoption of best practices for data governance, documentation, and process automation.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools or frameworks to advance the team’s capabilities.
