Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Excel, SQL, and either R or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proven ability to deconstruct complex data challenges and design logical, scalable analytical workflows.
- Skilled in gathering requirements, annotating data deliverables, and explaining analytical processes to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of fundraising or e-commerce database structures and associated coding/measurement practices.
- Experience leading projects or teams and coordinating work across multiple contributors.
- Preferred but not required: experience with Google Analytics, Tableau, and A/B test design or evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of reports and analyses including ROI assessments, retention analysis, testing insights, and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain custom reporting dashboards across digital channels, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection processes.
- Contribute to the annual Benchmarks report through data collection, analysis, and quality assurance.
- Provide support to teams through training, guidance on data tools, and clear explanations of complex analytical concepts.
- Partner with internal teams to solve data challenges, break down requirements, structure analytical approaches, and communicate results effectively.
- Manage projects involving analysts, developers, vendors, and internal staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new tools and methodologies that enhance data capabilities and improve client outcomes.
Other
- 7–9 years of professional experience in data analysis, including at least 5+ years in marketing, advertising, or eCommerce settings with exposure to testing frameworks.
- Experience in nonprofit, advocacy, or political campaign environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion, along with strong collaboration, empathy, integrity, and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail, strong prioritization abilities, and the capacity to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work within inclusive decision-making environments and accept feedback constructively.
