Datasite is looking to establish a high-performance Snowflake model and sophisticated Power BI data products to serve as a single source of truth for executive leadership regarding project performance, revenue, and product usage.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling within Snowflake (specifically joins, windowing, and performance optimization).
- Hands-on experience building complex measures and high-end report designs for both exploratory and leadership use.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric administration (workspaces, capacities, semantic models, and gateways).
- Familiarity with Salesforce’s data structure, specifically relating to revenue and project performance.
- Experience with Salesforce data integration and reporting is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain clean, well-documented SQL models using CTEs, window functions, and views to power finance-ready reporting.
- Map complex Salesforce object relationships (Accounts, Opportunities, Products, and custom project objects) into reliable, flattened reporting tables.
- Proactively investigate data anomalies, reconcile figures against source systems and publish runbooks to ensure long-term data integrity.
- Design star-schema models and complex DAX measures within Power BI/Fabric to maintain "one version of the truth" for all KPIs.
- Drive the full lifecycle from stakeholder requirements to delivered dashboards, ensuring reports are "executive-ready" with intuitive UX/UI.
- Own the Fabric workspace ecosystem, including capacity management, deployment pipelines, row-level security (RLS), and data source credentials.
- Partner with Finance and Ops leaders to define metrics and prevent "metric drift" across the organization.
Other
- 5–7+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence, ideally within a Finance or SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end reporting solutions—from raw data ingestion to polished executive dashboards.
- A "trust but verify" mindset with a relentless focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and produce crisp documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering).
