Responsibilities
- Oversee data acquisition, formatting, and documentation while mentoring engineers on best practices in data cleaning and analysis.
- Lead efforts to identify data gaps and guide ethical and privacy-focused data preparation.
- Assess and refine team models, promote scalable modeling practices, and introduce innovative evaluation techniques to ensure robust and reliable data-driven solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies to inform strategic direction.
- Write extensible, maintainable code and cultivate expertise in debugging and development best practices.
- Define and align business and customer goals, explore new opportunities with cross-functional teams, and deliver pragmatic, data-aligned solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop code for cloud-based solutions that can accelerate their organization.

- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.
- This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Enjoy travel and are comfortable with travel up to 25%
