Strengthening service availability and reliability of Azure Core Insights by applying data science and AI techniques to build tools that monitor service quality and generate insights to help mitigate customer-impacting issues.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
- Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 10+ years data science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results.
- 5+ years of Data Science product building, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.
- 3 years of experience in building, mentoring and growing a team of Data Scientists.
- Experience in running livesite services and ability to learn the platform and debug.
- Track record in driving telemetry requirements and implementation in the platform.
Responsibilities
- You will oversee data acquisition and ensure data is properly formatted and described.
- You will evaluate your team’s models and recommend improvements as necessary, drive best practices for models, and develop operational models that run at scale.
- You will conduct thorough reviews of data analysis and modeling techniques, and identify and invent new evaluation methods.
- You will write extensible code that spans multiple features, and develop expertise in proper debugging techniques.
- You will produce both data and AI products that scale, efficiently manage big data, build fast corelations, generate root causes, and measure precision and recall.
- You will work with platform developers and program managers to drive up the service quality and customer experience.
- You will participate and contribute to resolving any customer impacting issues in your areas of responsibility.
