Lowe's is seeking a Principal Marketing Measurement & Data Science Lead to develop and implement advanced analytical frameworks to optimize marketing investments, personalize customer experiences, and support enterprise-wide measurement.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience executing and deploying data science, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions, preferably in a large-scale enterprise setting (fewer years may be accepted with a master’s or doctorate degree)
  • 8 years of programming experience (fewer years may be accepted with a master's or doctorate degree)
  • 5 years of SQL experience and knowledge of various statistical modeling or machine learning techniques
  • Proven expertise in statistical modeling, econometrics, experimental design, and causal inference
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, Spark, and Scala
  • Deep technical fluency with cloud and big data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Demonstrated success in deploying measurement frameworks across MMM, MTA, geo testing, and incrementality testing

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of cross-channel measurement frameworks (MMM, MTA, geo testing, incrementality testing, platform-based attribution) to inform marketing ROI, budget allocation, and campaign optimization.
  • Develop and deploy models for segmentation, CLV, propensity, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement data-driven personalization and targeting strategies.
  • Architect and scale testing strategies, including A/B, geo-based, and quasi-experimental designs using ARIMAX and causal inference methods.
  • Standardize best practices across the enterprise.
  • Drive analytics to support pricing and promotional decisions, including elasticity modeling, dynamic pricing, and personalized offer testing using dual uplift methodologies.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to scale analytics using modern stacks (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, CDPs).

Other

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to marketing, loyalty, and digital teams.
  • Translate complex analytics into actionable insights and influence strategic decisions across the business.
  • Partner with data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to integrate data science into key marketing workflows and customer experiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed enterprise environments
