Applied Materials is looking to solve the problem of managing and improving their software development infrastructure, specifically their DevOps pipeline, to create robust builds and deployments, and overarching Product Lifecycle Management infrastructure that is efficient and robust.
Requirements
- C Architecture and best practices
- DevOps / Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD)
- NuGet package Creation and Consumption
- Jenkins or other DevOps infrastructure for managing commits, builds, and testing
- Git, especially Bitbucket and GitHub experience
- Microsoft Web API (ReST)
- Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC)
Responsibilities
- Manage DevOps at Applied Materials Control System Software Group
- Drive architecture, systems design, and DevOps pipeline improvements
- Create robust builds and deployments
- Develop and maintain overarching Product Lifecycle Management infrastructure
- Improve developer productivity, field service analysis, debugging tools, performance metrics tools and intranet sites
- Manage installation software and data collection for customer installs
- Develop tooling to improve developer productivity

- More than 7 years of experience, with some portion of that time spent designing or managing in a DevOps environment
- Somewhere between a Senior and Principal software position
