Requirements

  • Knowledge of company and industry codes, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in state(s) being supported Upon Hire
  • Demonstrated expertise and capabilities in project management
  • Experience and knowledge that meets the requirements as set forth in the engineering advancement criteria
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering curriculum from an EAC/ABET accredited college or university
  • 5 years of related engineering experience
  • Master's Degree in Business or Engineering (Preferred)
  • 10 years of gas distribution experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform project manager responsibilities for special projects and initiatives
  • Review, evaluate, and exercise responsible charge and certify designs, according to state requirements, over projects being designed by other engineers
  • Conduct QA/QC and follow-up development for engineering activities
  • Represent engineering for development of process, material and gas standards
  • Supplement engineering leadership and serve in an engineering leader role on an interim basis as need
  • Review permit applications, easement requests, material lists, MAOP documentation, as-built drawings, inventory records, contract bid documentation, and other necessary work order package artifacts to ensure sound execution of design and installation
  • Prepare feedback on detailed design drawings

  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
  • Reside within 50 miles of an Indiana reporting location to be eligible
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering curriculum from an EAC/ABET accredited college or university
