Toyota is looking to solve the problem of automating and managing its Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and services, including configuring, installing, maintaining, upgrading, and problem-solving the Data Centers and Critical Facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing Data Centers and Critical Facilities.
- Proven experience managing and improving reliability and security in large-scale, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including operational incident management.
- Extensive experience with Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), Heat Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) systems.
- Strong understanding of DR and HA strategies, including the design and implementation of redundant systems.
- Experience with physical security checks and compliance with security standards.
- Deep knowledge of datacenter operations, including physical access control, layout design, capacity planning, and infrastructure standards.
- Proficiency in capacity planning for network and power systems.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering: Act as a key partner to leadership, providing in-depth insights into third-party productivity & collaboration software/hardware.
- Architectural & Technical Strategy: Leads design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available, scalable, and secure Data Center Infrastructure systems, including cooling, power, network and physical security.
- Problem Solving & Methodology: Anticipate and problem-solve complex challenges with root cause analysis in Data Centers and Critical Facilities, requiring a balance of strategic vision and tactical execution, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leadership & Development: Provide functional expertise, project management, and team leadership in the implementation of mid-size to large projects, programs, or process improvement.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Responsible for administering and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures related to datacenter operations
- Utilizes advanced interpersonal skills in change management, negotiation, and influencing to drive organizational improvements.
