Requirements
- At least 12 + years of experience working with propulsion systems and/or engine-airframe integration, and 4 years actively using Cameo
- Strong understanding of MBSE tools
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of aviation propulsion systems on DoD applications using MBSE methodologies. Ensure systems meet customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain system models using tools such as Cameo, SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, and other MBSE tools. Perform simulations and analyses to validate system performance and behavior.
- Define, manage, and trace system requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure alignment between stakeholder needs and system capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Serve as a engine system integration subject matter expert as part of a diverse system design team. Ensure products and sub-systems meet overall requirements.
- Support capturing test data and lessons learned, connecting back to MBSE structure and requirements
- Participate in the research and development of technologies and methodologies associated with additive design. Advise on ways to improve product design through the exploitation of additive manufacturing.

- Advocate for the customer while understanding programmatic trade-offs and business decisions necessary to deliver the best overall solution.
- Coordinate with design and cross-functional teams to meet product requirements.
- Lead and/or participate in design reviews
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated consistent with engineering best practices
- Work with suppliers to procure hardware and resolve delivery and quality issues
- Passion for additive technology and willingness to challenge current design limitations to further exploit the benefits of additive capability

- Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
