Serve as a Mechanical Lead on a EPC power Project, providing leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination, managing project schedules and budgets, and preparing equipment inquiry/RFQ packages.
Requirements
- Strong background in heat exchangers, pumps, ASME pressure vessels, and ASME piping code
- Experience in the specification Power Plant Equipment Including CTGs, STGs, HRSGs
- Knowledge of the ASME Codes for pressure vessels and piping systems
- Knowledge of EPC project execution model
- As a Licensed Professional Engineer, seals and signs all documentation produced by own work. May also seal and sign work done by engineers under direct supervision.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a Mechanical Lead on a EPC power Project.
- Provide strong leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination.
- Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages.
- Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations.
- Review equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
- Develop job notes and technical scopes of work.
- Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review, to implement operating procedures, and resolve system malfunctions.
Other
- Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs.
- Prepare and maintain resource plans.
- Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings.
- Must maintain active status in a drug and/or alcohol testing consortium
- Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site.
