Collins Aerospace is looking for a Quality Engineer to lead cross-functional teams through Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, addressing non-conformances, production deviations, and customer complaints with a focus on long-term solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with leading root cause corrective action (RCCA) and applying quality methodology and tool
- Working experience with drawings/specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience quality systems, process validation, and statistical methods
- Six Sigma
- Process Certification
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Product Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- 8D, quality tools, 5 Whys of Root Cause Analysis, and SPC analysis
- AS9100
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional team in, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure.
- Lead quality investigations related to production deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operation, and supplier quality to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Review and approve manufacturing process changes, validations, and product documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Zero, PFMEA, MPR projects and process optimization.
- Support training and development of quality standards and procedures across operations.

- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
