Northrop Grumman is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining a robust Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system, which is a vital component of the Missile Defense System, by hiring a Principal Engineer Systems Architect – MBSE Modeler.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in building digital architecture models
- Expertise in linking architecture models with DOORS-managed requirements
- Proven experience in building and modifying all viewpoints within the DoDAF 2.0 modeling framework
- Experience with SysMOD and OOSEM methodologies
- Creating models using the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF 2.0) within the CAMEO development environment
- Possessing a working knowledge of MBSE standards to guide model development
- Having a working knowledge of Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORS) for requirement management
Responsibilities
- Converting paper architecture documents into digital models
- Delivering model artifacts
- Collaborating with both internal C2BMC and external MDA stakeholders within an MBSE modeling environment
- Supporting the development of architecture models
- Performing model configuration management
- Serving as a focal point for integration with other modeling teams and environments outside of C2BMC
- Mentoring junior systems engineering team members to improve their skills within the department
Other
- A Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred
- Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
- Must be willing to work on-site with no remote options
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance
