Eos Energy Enterprises is seeking a Principal Systems Test Engineer to drive high voltage Systems test platforms from design concept to operation and final reporting, ensuring the reliable performance of their innovative battery systems.
Requirements
- Ability to design, build, and safely operate AC-integrated high voltage battery systems with novel control system designs.
- Working knowledge of voltage-current relationships and dependencies for battery systems.
- Proficiency with scalable data analysis tools, platforms and programming languages such as Python and Linux, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with complex battery systems with multiple series and parallel architectures.
- Familiarity and experience with battery management systems development and operation.
- Working knowledge of integrated software-driven sensor based control systems.
- Ability to react and respond to evolving demands of systems data needs from senior management.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical design and development of high voltage battery strings and systems including AC/DC integration planning, data logging and analysis and test planning and coordination with other departments and engineers.
- Provide technical leadership to the Product Testing and Systems Integration organization.
- Work with management and other teams to define system testing requirements
- Develop data analysis tools for custom system architectures
- Provide guidance and oversight for multiple test platforms with Jr. and Sr. Engineers
- Lead other groups in Engineering in test platform development and operation
- Drive design and testing to ensure safe operation within building codes and requirements.
