Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Engineer Systems Test – Test Analyst (GAITS) to support the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels by testing the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) product and its interactions with external entities.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with SCI eligibility
  • Applicants with a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) are highly desired
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including: Windows, Unix/Linux
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Understanding of algorithms and how to implement them
  • Knowledge of: Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Command and Control (C2) systems, Track correlation algorithms
  • Familiarity with Link-16 protocols

Responsibilities

  • Testing and integrating complex systems
  • Ability to create detailed and repeatable tests to validate system performance and functionality, ensuring compliance with requirements and specifications
  • Proficiency in developing and executing test plans to support project goals
  • Experience with test-driven development and continuous integration
  • Ability to review and provide feedback on code (peer reviews)
  • Experience with messaging interface development
  • Experience with commercial and open-source software
